It turns out that Flu Shots are something that pregnant women should definately get. My doctor didn't mention it to me at the beginning of the flu season (Oct), so I asked at my last appointment. Sure enough... so I am off to get one tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have already been sick twice in the last few months (probably cold viruses, though.)
I hope that it works and is well worth the poke. Now, when I visit family in Iowa, hopefully no one will give me the flu. If only there were a vaccine for Fifth's Disease (Parvovirus), I would feel better.
I will be seeing the doctor again in one week, and I will update the blog then.
